About me

Alisa Krytsak is a Ukrainian-born fantasy painter based in Toronto, working primarily in acrylics on canvas and coloured pencil on paper. Self-taught, with a background in game development and professional illustration, they merge digital and traditional techniques into richly detailed figurative work. They’re inspired by Ukrainian tales and legends, Art Nouveau, and Renaissance masters, their paintings explore nature and transformation through a neurodivergent lens. Active since 2020 and Toronto-based since 2022, they’ve exhibited in both Ukraine and Canada, continuing to build a body of work that connects personal story to the world around them.
